Maurizio Negri, architect, graduated at the IUAV in Venice, a city that turned out to be fundamental for his formation.
He acknowledges Carlo Scarpa and James Stirling as the masters who have influenced him most on his career.
Eclectic and a keen believer in the idea that a creative craft should be approached as if it were an adult play, he has explored different disciplines:
mainly architectural design of exterior and interiors but also design, photography, graphics, teaching and criticism.
His design is based on two projects habitus:
The first humorous, light-hearted and utopian (which presupposes technology and functionality); the second wondrous, dreamlike and sensual (basically ant functional).
