Agape started off the year by revealing some important innovations at IMM 2014’s Design Post. Star of the show was the new DR tub for two, designed and created in collaboration with studio MK27, Marcio Kogan and Mariana Ruzante. To quote the designers, “The intention is to create a friendly, sensual and charismatic object. The smooth, flowing lines of DR offer great versatility”, making it the ideal tub for the family. The Brazilian designers introduced a new twist on the bathroom, customarily seen as an intimate place dedicated to wellbeing and body care, now viewed as a space to be shared. This is a first-time partnership with an Italian company for the Marcio Kogan studio, known and appreciated worldwide for their beautiful architecture and interior design projects.
Also featured in Cologne was the Novecento XL washbasin, a new addition to the Memory series. The design is an extended version of the distinctive fluidity of the Novecento series; also on show, the Ottocento Small bathtub, designed for confined spaces unable to accommodate a standard tub.
Design Post confirms its role as a key place of encounter for professionals and inspiration for visitors looking for all the latest international brands in the furniture industry , lighting, home accessories and textiles.
