hospitality. When hoteliers Carmen Kruselburger Alber and Klaus Alber set out to design the interiors of the Miramonti Boutique Hotel, they had a clear mission: to create a space that was “minimalist and discreet, with nature always present as the main character.” Located in the picturesque village of Avelengo in the Italian Dolomites, the hotel fully embraces its extraordinary setting, opening up toward a sweeping panoramic view over the Merano valley basin.

“Our guests are interested in design and architecture,” explain Carmen and Klaus, who reveal that the 44 rooms draw inspiration from Scandinavian and Japanese architectural traditions. Clean lines, natural materials and a serene atmosphere define spaces conceived for calmness and contemplation.

In the bathrooms, the choice naturally fell on Agape’s Italian-made fixtures, admired for their quality and refined aesthetic. Among them, the Immersion bathtub and washbasin designed by Neri&Hu — pieces inspired by the deep soaking tubs of Japanese onsen. “Made in Italy was very important to us,” they confirm, “and so is high-quality design.”

The result is a place where nature, aesthetic balance and craftsmanship coexist in harmony, offering guests an authentic sense of well-being intimately connected to the surrounding landscape.
