Agape Bathrooms

hospitality. In the heart of Rome, just steps from Via Veneto and the Spanish Steps, The Rome Edition emerges as a new destination where timeless architecture meets contemporary design culture. Originally conceived by Cesare Pascoletti and Marcello Piacentini — two leading figures of Italian Rationalism — the building now hosts interiors curated by Patricia Urquiola, who draws direct inspiration from its history and urban presence.

Urquiola revives the essence of Rationalist architecture: clean lines, sharp geometries and pure materials, reinterpreted through tactile warmth and meticulous attention to detail. Travertine, presented in multiple textured variations, flows throughout the hotel, connecting spaces and narratives across time.

The bathrooms serve as quiet sanctuaries of form and function. Here, the Lariana bathtub and Lariana washbasin — both designed by Urquiola for Agape — embody a sculptural clarity enhanced by the Memory taps by Benedini Associati. Stone, wood and brushed metal converge to create atmospheres of calm, precision and understated beauty.
