Corian®
Compact, non-porous material made from a homogeneous composition of 1/3 acrylic resin and 2/3 aluminium hydroxide, a natural mineral that people use every day because it is an important ingredient of toothpaste. The material is completely non-toxic and recyclable. The surface is homogeneous, silky to the touch, durable and easy to clean. Abrasions can be easily removed with simple sanding and polishing.

Maintenance
Easily clean the surface with common domestic cleansing products (i.e. soap water or common ammonia-based detergents). Avoid prolonged exposure to strong chemical products such as acids, bases and organic solvents. Stains must be immediately cleaned. Corian® can also be damaged by excessive heat. Small cuts, scratches and stains can be removed with fine-grained sandpaper and Scotch-Brite abrasive swabs. Deeper cuts or damage caused by violent impact (i.e. cracks) may require the targeted intervention of specialised personnel to perform imperceptible repairs.
